It is unlikely, however, that you'll want to spend all of your virtues on the Gifted mastery.

If a nutty loremaster allowed a character to begin with one attribute at 12 (the absolute maximum) and the other two at 1, the maximum possible favored attribute of that character would be 20. Such a character would be so lopsided as to be useless.

As to the question originally asked, my read is that when the Elf gets to apply an attribute bonus she does so as if that attribute was a favored attribute. I don't see anything that says the Elf gets to apply the favored attribute bonus to every dice roll or treat every attribute as favored at all times when in the gloom. Rather if and when you get an Attribute bonus on a roll you treat the attribute as favored even if it is not.

My daughter asked to play an Elf warrior princess so I have an interest in the question. She is not trying to munchkin. She is a 14 year old girl. Elf warrior is just a case of picking the right culture and skills, the princess part, well background and role play should take care of that. Considering how long lived Elves are there are probably a lot of princes and princesses out there, each with a long time if ever to the throne.

Remember that the official unofficial errata clarifies that Folk of the Dusk only applies to common skills.
