It would be great to have some subforums of Meetings:

Europe
NA
LA
Asia
Oceania
...
I dont think this would be a massive change to the current forum ( in terms of upkeep)

First things first. If you want a forum to try to locate people, I see no problem, but I do not see the need for what you are asking for. One thing at a time. If they location forum starts getting loads of traffic, maybe this might be necessary, but otherwise not. Besides, a general locations/games forum can also spark internet games across continents, so better to have a general thing to start with, no?

Oh one other thing to consider, being able to search the Members database by Location. as far as I can tell it currently isn't an option.

Then again, less than 1 member in 20has their Location displayed so it's probably a moot point.

We don't have a real reason to show our location or our time zone, but some of us do it.Anyway a subforum shoud help to gather TOR players,

Now, we've discussed splitting the TOR forum before to help sort discussions, and the jury is still out on that one. So let's not get into that now. An additional forum for finding games and fellow players would be a very "clean" and straightforward thing to add.

Thoughts?
Stellar suggestion, right up there with "more cakes--and ale--and coffee, if you don't mind!"

;)

We might also use it to announce local or regional demos of TOR at game shops and conventions? (With the intention of connecting players of course, and recruiting other experienced Loremaster for a demo adventure or two..., hmmm?)
