I hope that is the last lawsuit that is floating around that deals with Tolkien's works.

I would also guess that this lawsuit will have no impact on what C7 can do with their licenses, though even if it somehow did, I know that Jon and company would not be legally allowed to tell us anything.

Agreed. I don't see a connection between the issues involved in this suit and Middle-earth RPGs, with the possible exception of PDF content.
