I got another piece done by Will Nunes - this time of the full Fellowship from
Tales of the North!
From top to bottom -
Curulon, Ranger of the North
Nidhiel, Elf of Mirkwood
Bruni, Dwarf of the Lonely Mountain
Bryony Took, Hobbit of the Shire
Hobson Proudfoot, Hobbit of the Shire
Kol, Man of the Lake
Liniel, Elf of Lothlórien
Meren, High Elf of Rivendell

The elves only look like they have pointed ears. It's an optical illusion that occurs when you look up at something tall.

Because that is the interpretation we prefer? Probably just like C7, since their elves also have pointed ears.

I don't prefer elves with pointed ear. Alas, not in Middle Earth

There is support for it. If Hobbit-ears are slightly pointed, but not as much as an Elf's, than an Elf's ears must be more pointed.

This is a controversial topic and there are differing opinions all over the place. I don't want to derail the thread (too late!) so I'll just say I agree with the Tolkien Society:
