Ok. Maybe I misunderstood the way battles work.
Usually, I see foes and fellows fighting "mixed" during the whole battle. Something like chaos.
Now, I think battles imply many steps and mouvments (war strategies, troops organization) and rallying comrades could also be a way to call back fellows and re-create a line to fight together and not being isolated.
I thought rallying comrades was just about singing, but... it might be a way to organize the battle, depending on the player's choice (mocking foes doesn't require fellows to be one your side).
