Yeah, more Middle-Earth wherever or whenever it is set is cool with me, as long as C7 does not veer too far off the written path.

So no winged, high-eared elves wearing plate armor and shooting crossbows. lol
Shooting crossbows and what? You forgot to add what's in the other hand

I was just reading the original Magical Treasure rules in Riv and noting that they mention there that they're gonna expand in future supplements. Obviously we've had Erebor doing some of that, to pretty great effect. Some extra detail for Gondorian/Numenorean weapons/items and potentially some for maybe Lorien could be kinda cool. I love that ruleset, think it's very well done the more I read it.

I would love some nuances for journeys--whether along the Moria-inspired uncertainty lines that Glorelendil has been interested in, or others. Journeys and maps didn't really satisfy me there, tho it had some great sections.

I like the Avariel Elves just fine, I just wouldn't want to see them in Middle-earth!

I don't think they'd wear plate, though, unless it was magical glassteel. Too heavy!

The quickest of updates post-Gen Con.

So when we started Adventures in Middle-earth we hoped that it would boost interest in The One Ring. (When I say "hoped" that's a bit of British understatement. We made some calculated decisions based on actual sales data, and general experience, that this would be the case.)

At Gen Con we brought along a lot more stock of TOR than we normally would. And sold it all. We ended up with just a handful of supplements left by the end.

The plan is working. Both games strongly benefit from one another. TOR has amazing material to work with, AME has a huge audience ripe for conversion to TOR.

Thought you might like to know. :)

Thanks, Jon! I trust that we can look forward to a more extensive con-report in the new future. 8-)

Excellent! Thanks for the update, Jon. I think this is great news for both games! :D

A petty and vindictive mind might start linking to the threads where the doom & gloom pessimists gnashed their teeth and wailed and prophesied disaster.

Wouldn't matter. They would just claim a cover-up and insist that they're still correct.
