Nope OS, definitely intended to use ma'am(contraction of Madam). Schoolmarm seems equally viable, but less likely as the pronunciation in the Old English themed settings of Breeland and the Shire. :)

@Glorelendil

Truth be told, I don't think that we'll ever find out who Anna is, or what her story is? I believe that she is simply a hook for LMs to work with.

Recruiting children to be agents of Sauron. How much lower can you get?
I'm not sure that was the idea, but if you like the notion then go for it!

We know that Gandalf sends hobbit children west to "see the Blue", specially Bucklanders.
West lives Círdan, the only elf with beard that we know of.
When all those children come back, they wear boots to cover their feet, as has become typical of Buckland.

Why do those hobbits hide their feet? Usually the hair makes footwear unnecesary. Is something wrong with them?
Where does Círdan's beard grow from?

Questions, questions,...

And also:

Círdan did give away one of the three Elven Rings to Gandalf, whom he didn't know at all, without asking anything in return?

Yeah, and I was born yesterday...

Anna Wintermoss is a piece of cake compared to Círdan.

Don't even get me started on "jolly" (yeah right) old Tom Bombadil.

Guess who turns out to be the Big Bad in the 4th Age?

Neither. It is going to be only available on the new BBC streaming service.
Adventure Summaries for my long-running group (currently playing through The Darkening of Mirkwood/Mirkwood Campaign), and the Tale of Years for a second, lower-level group (in the same campaign).

A question for the artists of the Bree book. In my pdf, the picture of Anna Wintermoss is incomplete. Is she supposed to be relatively young or a an older woman?

Thanks
