Actual Plays?
Actual Plays?
I know there are some actual play blogs and YouTube feeds, but are there any ap podcasts out there that are eluding me?
Re: Actual Plays?
I might humbly suggest The Chippewa Valley Geek Actual Play & Community Theatre Podcast....

Not quite half of our AP episodes so far have been dedicated to our ongoing Darkening of Mirkwood campaign. We just recorded Session 30 (The Seige of Black Tarn Hall) and anticipate many more to come...

Re: Actual Plays?
I did an actual play thread on RPGNet back when the game first came out. It might be of interest:

John, I stumbled across your old APs when preparing to post my own. I really enjoyed reading them, and will shamelessly pilfer ideas.
I loved the way you described the feast at the Gathering of Five Armies, and some of those details will definitely enter my game!

Re: Actual Plays?
If textual actual plays are useful, here's the part of my Tales game that I actually managed to document: https://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?74 ... erland-PbP
The actual game was here and here. As a fair warning, the first part of the game used the original slipcase rules and I was learning as I went. So it might not be a perfect mechanical reference, though hopefully the feel is right, even if the specifics are sometimes a bit off.

Great! I'm glad it was useful. It was one of the most fun campaigns I've ever run in 40 years of gaming.gsecaur wrote: ↑Wed Aug 02, 2017 11:02 pmJohn, I stumbled across your old APs when preparing to post my own. I really enjoyed reading them, and will shamelessly pilfer ideas.

Re: Actual Plays?
Just in case there would be some French-speaking people coming by here, I'm putting my own campain as actual play on my podcast "Club JDR". We are 34 episodes deep in The Darkening of Mirkwood, so there's quite a bit to listen too. But it's in French.

For the swedes out there, we have a newly started AP podcast where we play TOR at the moment and share some adventures around Bree. It’s called Tärningen är Kastad:
