Aye, could settle for Branson; has a great Christian name! Murdoch's a hideous creature.Elfcrusher wrote:Um....Richard Branson?Rich H wrote:... It's in no shape or form to suggest the involvement of someone like Rupert Murdoch is looking on the bright side!
(I just picked Murdoch because he has a track record of bestowing both massive piles of cash and relative autonomy on tiny companies that fit into his Grand Scheme.)
There's a "Minas Murdoch" joke here somewhere...Rich H wrote:... It's in no shape or form to suggest the involvement of someone like Rupert Murdoch is looking on the bright side!
There's zero chance it happens sadly.daddystabz wrote:Please announce you have the rights to publish 1st. and 2nd. age material from the Silmarillion!

Cubicle 7 licenced the rights for The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings from Middle-Earth Enterprise, while the rights for every else belongs to the Tolkien Estate (so the Tolkien family).
Right, that's it. I am booking a trip down to Oxford and also one up to Scotland, you lot are making us really suffer so much so I am sure a Ringwraith is involved somewhere! heheJon Hodgson wrote:No, it definitely doesn't.
Apologies for the delay, in as much as we can meaningfully apologise for it. As previously mentioned we don't want to tease, so we'll stay tightlipped until we have announcements to make.
Or wait for copyright expiration...Angelalex242 wrote:As for first and second age stuff...
I think we might as well save ourselves time and homebrew it. That's a task we can finish. Convincing the Tolkien estate their Silmarillion material should be officially published is not.
