Wicked Cunning: The creature must spend 1 point of Hate at the beginning of each combat round to activate this ability. If the ability is active, when the creature is attacked add to its Parry rating a value equal to the basic TN of the attacking hero’s chosen Combat Stance. (Rivendell p. 67)
Does this mean that it adds the TN of the stance twice (e.g., Hero's stance TN 14, Creature Parry = 4, so to hit = 4 + 14 + 14)? Otherwise, that means it adds the stance only once, which I thought was how things normally worked (e.g., attacking a creature w/ parry 3 from a stance w/ TN 14 means hitting it is a TN 15).

Hmmm... I'm a bit confused at your examples. The base TN for Forward stance is TN 6, the base TN for Open is TN 9, and the base TN for Defensive is TN 12.
So if the adversary had Parry 4, a hero in Forward Stance would need TN 10 (TN 6 for Forward +4 from the enemy's Parry) to hit it. If the creature had Wicked Cunning and activated it, then the TN for the Stance is added again. So in this case it would need TN 16 (TN 6 for Forward +4 for Parry +6 for Wicked Cunning).
And, yes, in Defensive stance that would mean that the hero would need to hit TN 28 (TN 12 for Defensive, +4 for Parry and +12 for Wicked Cunning). It certainly makes those folks who like to turtle in Defensive stance have a hard time hitting the enemy!
