Where can I find an index/database?

Post by delazar » Wed Sep 06, 2017 11:03 am

Has someone compiled an index/database to make it easier to find where each monster, undertaking, culture, calling, etc. are?

I was about to do this on my own, but then I thought "hey, this is the internet, maybe someone did it already!"

I built an unnecessarily complicated bestiary (see my .sig) that requires you to link to the PDFs, but beyond that I haven't seen what you're asking for. For my own use adversaries are the only category (from those you mention) that require such a thing; the others are few/obvious enough that they require no technology assist.

EDIT: Ha! And it's been so long since I've used it that I just realized it's still keyed to the slipcase version of the core rules.

Somebody made a list of all of the Undertakings, along with references of where they're found (they're spread out amongst many books).
Adventure Summaries for my long-running group (currently playing through The Darkening of Mirkwood/Mirkwood Campaign), and the Tale of Years for a second, lower-level group (in the same campaign).

There's such an index in the Adventurer's Book, IIRC.

And an index of locations (and where more information can be found) in Journeys and Maps.
