Lake-town guide and screen
Lake-town guide and screen
From what I understand, the Lake-town guide and screen that suggests this was written for the first edition of TOR. Is this true? If so, what does it mean in terms of it's usefulness for the Revised edition?
Re: Lake-town guide and screen
It is still very useful.
Laketown: Absolutly useful and no problem concerning editions.
Screen: Relatively useful. Most numbers are the same, and most of the rules too. There are some minor parts of the screen that have lost their usability, but I would estimate only between 5-10% of the whole screen. The only thing you realy can't use anymore is the page reference...
All in all absolute recommendation to buy it. But before you rush it, there will be an updated version in the future, but I can't say when...

@C7,
Any information on a revised edition? When might we see one available in the store?
The current edition has been out of stock for more than a year.

It’s on press right now. So we’re expecting it back in stock in the UK and Europe in a couple of weeks (perhaps sooner because our European printers in collaboration with TS do some amazing, surprising nay impossible things with shipping), and then it’s an Atlantic boat ride away from the US and US customs. (That one is really hard to predict. If US customs take an interest then the shipment can be delayed for 3d10 days)
But not too long to wait now, fingers crossed. And of course this printing is all updated to the revised edition of TOR.

Will we see an announcement when the revised version is on sale, advertising it as such? I don't want to miss out.
Re: Lake-town guide and screen
I am looking forward to purchasing this as well.

Yes you will. I need to check exactly where the print run is right now - I am aware a consignment of something arrived in the office yesterday, but I believe it was books rather than screens. I'll double check though.DavetheLost wrote: ↑Fri Nov 24, 2017 7:30 pmWill we see an announcement when the revised version is on sale, advertising it as such? I don't want to miss out.
