Ah, I missed the Fatigue not Encumbrance part. Thanks for pointing that out! As I said, I'll probably play with the rules as written the first go round anyway, and its looking like I need to do that first regardless, to really learn the system. Having folks point out my misinterpretations of the rules is part of why I signed up on the forums in the first place!
As far as the sizes of various foes go, I'd personally say that a Warg needs to be bigger than a Hobbit to carry a rider of Hobbit size or greater, but the Snaga Trackers night well be of a similar scale. Possibly the smaller spiders as well...

This one depends on the LM a great deal and how they define "larger." An Orc is surely larger than a Hobbit, but is a small goblin tracker? What about a warg?
It definitely is in effect most of the time — as advertised in the writeup — but I wouldn't say all of the time.
Considering that most are big enough to fight one-on-one with a adult man I'd say that they're definitly larger. Goblins are one of the few creatures were I think Hobbit wouldn't get the bonus.

Spiders described as 'the size of a boar' probably don't count as any larger than a Hobbit either as do Great Bats, possibly Mewlips, Grim-hawks, maybe Hunter-spiders.

Wargs are larger - they're ridden by goblins. Goblins in my game are of similar size and I do not grant the bonus to our hobbit character. But I do for wolves.
