The Laughter of Dragons is the accompanying campaign for the Erebor™: The Lonely Mountain, which details the titular mountain home of the Dwarves, as well as the neighbouring city of Dale.

Featuring 6 linked adventures, The Laughter of Dragons takes your heroes on a nail-biting series of adventures across the lands around the Mountain in a desperate quest to save both cities from ruin.

We're hard at work completing this exciting campaign, and today we're delighted to be able to share the cover with you.

Like the shadow of the dragon cast across the mountain. I guess that the Dale that is pictured is pre burning?

Shiny!

When? When when when when when when when?

(I don't actually expect an answer! I'm just impatient. :D )

This is the one that will break my shipping-cost-induced abstention from buying new stuff for TOR! I have resisted the lure of both Bree and Oaths, but this will be irresistible.

Edit: Once an order is placed, I will, of course, buy everything released since my last purchase.

This should, probably, be the ground-breaking supplement for The One Ring that shows how to use dragon(s) in a Middle-earth campaign, in comparison to how they are usually used in other games.

After the high standard set by Oaths of the Riddermark, I'm very much expecting this one as the "quintaessential fantasy campaign, TOR-style".

And there's even no need to put a 'real' dragon in this supplement.

You assume that there will be a dragon in these adventures? Interesting... :)

I'm personally not a fan of the cover; I don't think it's particularly evocative (I had the same feeling toward 'Oaths', although I liked Bree) and feels flat and uninspiring even though it's technically excellent.

Yep, you get it!

I'd like to see the Sorceress of Mirkwood as a major protagonist, even the lead one, in these adventures. She's terribly underused in all the other material released so far. Perhaps, if she isn't used then a fan could include her in an upcoming adventure in some way. That'd be great.
