Advancing Fellowship Focus rules

The unique One Ring rules set invites tinkering and secondary creation. Whilst The One Ring works brilliantly as written, we provide this forum for those who want to make their own home-brewed versions of the rules. Note that none of these should be taken as 'official'.

By the way, my aim was to redefine Fellowship Focuses and clear all the RAW for that specific rule.
No more points at the end of the session if the fellow is alive, not wounded, not miserable, etc. I don't think it was a bad idea, but I didn't want to multiply ways to recover Hope using FF, and choosed to replace it by another unique way: interacting during the adventure and contributing to the fellowship's story and characters' relations. Hope points would be like a reward.
How about get the point of Hope back that you used to invoke and attribute bonus in aid of your FF?

I would prefer worry about someone with whom I have bonded (reality like).
I think that link need roleplay. Maybe some players don't need rules to do it naturally, but I feel many need rules to know where to focus attention. And my aim is to focus on the relation itself, more than just the partner's health.
I get the motivation completely and think it's an excellent one.

Perhaps a vignette scene with your FF as the interaction is worth refreshing two points into the FP rather than just one (for other Fellowship members)?

Good point.
I wrote in the first post that :
A favorite FF allows the player to roll the d12 twice and keep the better result.
I guess we should get rid of rolls, I agree with that. As a consequence, I suggests 2 advantages for the "FFF" (Favorite Fellowship Focus) :
  • Get a Hope Point, used to help the favorite relation, back.
  • FP recovers 2 points on a favorite FF invoked (rather than just 1).
Like I said some posts ago, these rules allow two characters to interact. How about allowing a scene with more than two characters?

A solution could be:
  • A player invokes a FF (favorite or not), so they will refresh 1 or 2 points into the FP
  • Other players can add their character into the scene, only if interacting and adding interesting content to the scene. Doing so, they refresh 1 more point per additional character.
I'm not sure about that rule. Imagine there are 5 players and the whole group want to sing all together. They can refresh the whole FP just by interacting once. Moreover they can trick it by calculating it pays more to invoke a favorite FF (1 more point)...
I wonder if we need a special rule for that. There's the Songs (from Rivendell) too. There are a kind of group FF... (maybe there's no need for a group rule)
