No problem. It will be some time (up to a couple of days, depending on kids' illness issues) before I'm in place to make those changes but they will happen.Falenthal wrote:Sorry, zed, but I also used a not so proper word somewhere else. In the Treasure box, instead of "Llevado", say "Transportado". Is what the spanish book says and I like it more than my translation.

Re: New Character Sheet
Hmm. There are no words in Czech that distinguish between "Vocation" and "Calling"?

Re: New Character Sheet
I claim every single error And I also want to express my deep gratitude to Zedturtle for his willingness and hard work!
Missing words:
Culture - Národ (it is not a direct translation, but the direct counterpart "kultura" has slightly different conotation in Czech)
Age - Věk
Shadow weakness: Stínová slabost (a direct translation, but one I am not really satisfied with).
I hope I have one overlooked anything...

Re: New Character Sheet
Wow!
I've already posted a link to the image in the spanish forums, to see what people think of it. Great job!
According to the lenght of the lines, Standard of Living seems too big and Calling too short, don't you think?
"Prosperous" is the longest word we have for SoL and there's more than enough space there for it.
"Treasure Hunter", on the other hand, might fit too tight in the Calling space available.
The spanish version has the same problem: just make the SoL a few spaces shorter and give them to the Calling.
And that would be it.

Re: New Character Sheet
I'm impressed. Those look really good.
Re: New Character Sheet
Next you need to do one in Quenya, one in Sindarin, and another in Black Speech.zedturtle wrote:A trilingual update tonight...

Yes, they do. Now we need Glorelendil to write some cool software to integrate this into a TOR smart app.
Rignuth: Barding Wordweaver Wanderer in Southron Loremaster's game.
Amroth Ol'Hir: High Elf Vengeful Kin Slayer in Zedturtle's game.
Jakk O'Malli: Dwarven Orator Treasure-Hunter in Hermes Serpent's game.

And Klingon. You know somebody's gonna want that!
Is there a black & white, more printer-friendly version (for the non-form filled one) yet zed? It really does look awesome, and you've done a masterful job with these!

Adventure Summaries for my long-running group (currently playing through The Darkening of Mirkwood/Mirkwood Campaign), and the Tale of Years for a second, lower-level group (in the same campaign).
Re: New Character Sheet
I'm going to make a few tweaks based on the above suggestions, and then you should expect to see form-fillable B&W and colour versions in at least four languages within 24 hours.
