Fan Supplement Revised Edition

The unique One Ring rules set invites tinkering and secondary creation. Whilst The One Ring works brilliantly as written, we provide this forum for those who want to make their own home-brewed versions of the rules. Note that none of these should be taken as 'official'.

Revising this work it amazes me the amount of fan stuff that fans have contributed to this forum throughout the years - All of you should be congratulated!! :D :D

Now I can go back to reading other fan's stuff!!

Thanks Robin, that looks great! I don't remember seeing the earlier version of this, but I look forward to reading through it.

Thanks Robin.

It looks like something is wrong with the "Respectable Hobbit". His weapon skill choices are:
1) Short sword 1, Bow 1, Dagger 1
2) Bow 1, Short sword 1, Dagger 1

Which are identical except for the order. Were the first weapons on each choice supposed to be at skill 2 or maybe favored?

BTW, Are the pages numbered?

I see that some of my material has been incorporated into this--probably more than I've noticed so far. Thanks! I do hope that players and Loremasters find it useful. There's plenty of other good stuff here too!

I have been having second thoughts on some of my home-brewed material. For example: the language of the Lossoth, I now believe, would be related to the speech of the Sami people, early inhabitants of Lapland in northern Europe, and might represent the roots or an early branch of the Uralic language group (as opposed to my original assumption of Inuit).

Massive amount of work here Robin, kudos. Even stuff that looks new to me so must have missed the threads discussing them initially.

Respectable Hobbits was one of the "Variant Cultures" provided by Michebugio in this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=56&t=3613

So you may need to resurrect the thread or PM Michebugio..

I just realized you were using stuff under both Elfcrusher and Glorelendil.

FYI, in the characters section Dianach is nearly identical to Aobh. The latter was the original; the former was a variant I made for Zed's GenCon game.

Next time around it might be nice to ask authors if they are ok with their work being replicated in other places.
