Quick Laughter of Dragons Update
Hello everyone! Hope you had a restful break over Christmas and New Year, however you choose to celebrate the year's ending!
So I wanted to just drop a little Laughter of Dragons update to the forum faithful. We're still working on it, it's coming together very nicely, it is longer than originally anticipated, it is a campaign not just a series of unlinked adventures, and it's currently looking like it is stable at 160 pages. There are some great moments in Dale, Erebor and Lake-town, and we're all really looking forward to bringing it to you.
We don't have an anticipated release date as yet - as I know that will be the first question. As soon as we have more information we will, of course, share it with you.
In other news, I'm working on confirming exactly when Lake-town reprint will go back on sale. It's here in the UK, just need to confirm it is good to go on sale in the US. We don't want you to order it Stateside and then have to wait any longer than necessary.
Happy New Year!

Re: Quick Laughter of Dragons Update
Thanks for the update and awesome news Jon. Hopefully this is going to be adaptable to play alongside Darkening, for companions who wouldn''t mind a bit of Northern adventures. WIth this and Moria 2018 is going to be the greatest TOR year ever!
Re: Quick Laughter of Dragons Update
I'm assuming so, but moving the default starting timeline forward a little so that it coincides more with later events in Darkening - when Bard is coming under more political pressure and plotting, etc.Dunkelbrink wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 11:48 amHopefully this is going to be adaptable to play alongside Darkening, for companions who wouldn''t mind a bit of Northern adventures.
Isn't it just! I said in another thread that my gaming group considers starting up other campaigns (Star Wars, Exalted, The Laundry, etc) but never end up doing so as the four of us are all enjoying TOR so much. These kind of additions to the product line are only going to add to that enjoyment. I genuinely feel sorry for players that can't find a gaming group but want to play - it's a pity some don't live near me; I'd happily expand my campaign to include any that did.Dunkelbrink wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 11:48 amWIth this and Moria 2018 is going to be the greatest TOR year ever!

Re: Quick Laughter of Dragons Update
Many thanks for the update, Jon. Laughter is probably the most expected title in my sight, even more than Moria.

Thanks for the update, Jon. It's good to know that The Laughter of Dragons is coming together well!

This is great news!
My Darkening campaign could do with a new side quest
And not just untelated adventures...
