Re: Who is using TOR to play in the Fourth Age?
I know that username Lara Redleaf has been working on a Fourth Age campaign; I don't know whether she has actually finished preparing it or has started it.

To be honest, with all the cool options in the standard time period of C7's product line, I've not even considered running TOR at any other point in time! Will be interested in seeing if others have and what they've come up with.

I'm not as interested either. But years ago my son ran a Lord of the Rings RPG (Decipher) game for his friends that was quite successful. Went on for a few years and I believe they finished it as well.
Adventure Summaries for my long-running group (currently playing through The Darkening of Mirkwood/Mirkwood Campaign), and the Tale of Years for a second, lower-level group (in the same campaign).

The only 4th age adventure I’ve played was MERP Palantir Quest.
A great campaign that takes the company from Minas Tirith to the Bay of Forochel and into the heart of Mirkwood.
Lots of travel, intrigue and combat. Could be a nice fit if converted to TOR.

One game to rule them all: TOR

I'm with Rich. 1st and 2nd Age don't interest me, either. Those periods provide the backdrop for me, they're not something I want to engage in.
I could see playing at other points during the 3rd Age, though.

I admit to being a tiny bit confused, especially as I'm not running any games at present. That said, I hope you're having fun no matter what!

Re: Who is using TOR to play in the Fourth Age?
I have written (and run) a campaign for the Fourth Age, although it is in hiatus at present. I prefer the Fourth Age because the LM (and players) are no longer constrained by "known events", player characters are free to make choices without restrictions etc.
In regards to the early Fourth Age, this is a great time to be an Adventurer, as King Elessar needs a lot of assistance in cleaning up Mordor etc., and to send emissaries to Harad and other places to assist with the rebuild.
My 'baddie' is the Mouth of Sauron, who survived the fall of Sauron (a common theme in Tolkien).
I can post you more if you are interested - or you can use the Palantir to search for 'Fourth Age' to find similar discussions...
