My player's want to adventure permanently with a Hill-Man they met in Ruins of the North. The NPC / Antagonist rules don't really seem built for Long Term play as NPCs. For example, how many Hope does an NPC Hill Man have?
Is there a good way to expand the NPC-building rules enough so that they have a workable companion without having to create a full character sheet for him?
Long Term Adventuring NPCs
Re: Long Term Adventuring NPCs
Just make stuff up applicable to the NPC in question and what you want them to do in the game and/or how you want them to support the PCs. It really depends on how detailed you want to get in fleshing out the NPC as to how far you develop them: going from the current LMC stat blockas presented in supplements and adventures, to one like Beorn in the main rulebook, all the way up to basically giving them all the elements/rules of a fully statted PC.
