I'm sure that we will see all of The Nine by the end of the line (ie when we hit the War of the Ring years.) I hope they adjust the stats some what however. I kind of feel they are a little on the weak side.trystero wrote:Dare I hope that some or all of the remaining six Nazgûl will be detailed in the 2014 books? The Witch-king seems like an obvious fit for the Rivendell book, since it will cover Angmar.

IIRC the power of the 9 depends on the power of Sauron. Since Sauron is still on the run during this time period I would say that they can easily grow in power in the future.

I think the section regarding them within Darkening of Mirkwood presents it as such - at the very least, their attribute level is going to increase but I'd guess the array of powers will be further expanded or increased in power.Elmoth wrote:IIRC the power of the 9 depends on the power of Sauron. Re: Coming next for The One Ring™
I know a few of you have asked questions about maps for The One Ring. We agree that the map is an integral (and cool!) part of the game, and you can rest assured that both Wilderland, Eriador and Rohan will be cartographically catered for with new maps.
Re: Coming next for The One Ring™
This is awesome news, Andrew! Thank you for letting us know. Will the maps be sold separately or will they be a page in the new hardcover books (the way an updated map of Wilderland was included in the Heart of the Wild book).Andrew wrote:I know a few of you have asked questions about maps for The One Ring. That's excellent news; thanks, Andrew.Andrew wrote:...Wilderland, Eriador and Rohan will be cartographically catered for with new maps.
Speaking for myself, I'd love to be able to buy spare copies of the player maps on heavy matte poster stock for use at the game table (or to hang as wall art). I had the PDF of the original TOR map run off at a local print shop so I could give my players a rolled-up "prop" copy to scribble routes on, but a proper poster version would be better still. I wonder whether there would be enough interest from the player base to make such poster releases worthwhile?

... In my opinion Kickstarter would be a perfect fit for such a thing. Getting premium, expensive-to-produce-for-what-they-are, items like this paid for up front.trystero wrote:I wonder whether there would be enough interest from the player base to make such poster releases worthwhile?

Andrew, Jon, and Francesco: I concur with the comments about the maps. You've done a beautiful job on them so far, and I hope you'll continue with them in both the books themselves, and possibly a special set, Kickstarter, or whichever you decide as extras. I know I'll purchase them - and probably frame and mat them .
