I very much agree. I know I haven't been on the forums as much as I used due to a combination of an illness in the family and work -- and I missed it and all of you, and now I'll miss it/you even more! I'm friends with some of you on Facebook but for those who don't use it, if you'd like to stay in touch (and I hope so!) please DM me and I'll give you my email address. You can also find me on Google+ and Twitter (see my signature below for Twitter handle).Rich H wrote: ↑Fri May 18, 2018 6:24 pmIt's extremely sad. This community will only be diluted on other forums, if it exists at all, and don't get me started on things like Facepalm for trying to do such things.
Will miss chewing things over with everyone here, old timers and new; I've met some people on here that have undoubtedly improved me as a GM and my understanding of Tolkien's work as well as doing it in an enjoyable manner. And then there are those that I count as friends - albeit some that I may never have met yet in person.
My gaming life, and perhaps even life as a whole (because it's the things that give us pleasure that are most important when all is said and done), will be made worse by the absence of this forum.
A very sad day.
Farewell for now!
