RPGGeek Dedicated TOR Forum
Hi All,

RPGGeek has a dedicated TOR forum: https://rpggeek.com/forums/family/4395/one-ring along with subforum for Reviews, Sessions, General, GMs Only, Rules, House Rules, News, and a Play By Forum. Probably a little to many for my tastes but still a nice separation of areas.

It certainly allows for ongoing and historice discussion far better than things like Google+ and Facebook and gives us the dedicated forums for TOR that we'd also still like to keep. It's low traffic at the moment so we can also recreate the feeling of community we have here which would be lovely. In addition, those worried about privacy can create an internet persona/avatar there separate to their real life - I know this is really important to some!

So, come join me there?

Rich

The C7 forums was always my local friendly Pub, I wasn't on it a lot but always loved stopping by.

I will take a look at the suggested alternates and hope to see the usual posters around.

Man I hate this! :(

am one of the owners of WarSeer and we wanted to offer to help.

When WarSeer had a long period of downtime and it looked like it was gone for good a lot of the community were very upset as we invest a lot of ourselves in forums over the years.

If the community here would like to come over by lifeboat then we are more than happy to create a board/s and section of the forum for you all to keep your community alive.

We have also contacted the owner of this forum to make an offer of help.

Let us know what you think. You would all be very welcome and we are a friendly bunch. In this modern world we really believe that forums still have an essential place.

Whatever the case, myself and Black cherry (the other owner) will be sorry to see this forum go and hope some of you will take us up on our offer. There is still a place for you all over on WarSeer.

Great initiative Rich!

While others, such as Warseer, might be fully valid and equal options, I would say we should just go with Rich's option since speed is of the essence and he is leading the charge so to speak.

Maybe make a new thread, which can be stickied, to announce the move?

Can we get official word on the possibility of having the admins migrate material en masse over to a new location? Dom's announcement seemed to imply that that might be an option.
