RPGGeek Dedicated TOR Forum

Post by Rich H » Sat May 19, 2018 8:45 am

Hi All,

RPGGeek has a dedicated TOR forum: https://rpggeek.com/forums/family/4395/one-ring along with subforum for Reviews, Sessions, General, GMs Only, Rules, House Rules, News, and a Play By Forum. Probably a little to many for my tastes but still a nice separation of areas.

It certainly allows for ongoing and historice discussion far better than things like Google+ and Facebook and gives us the dedicated forums for TOR that we'd also still like to keep. It's low traffic at the moment so we can also recreate the feeling of community we have here which would be lovely. In addition, those worried about privacy can create an internet persona/avatar there separate to their real life - I know this is really important to some!

So, come join me there?

Rich

Great stuff, Ghorin!

I think out of all the options, this is the best one. It is still a discussion forum so threads don't disappear as quickly as they do on Google+ and, say, a more generic RPG discussion forum that would get swamped by other games. It isn't as user friendly as this one but I think a few weeks of use will get over those immediate issues and if enough of us use it will get this community restarted over there.
