Can't wait to pick this up.

If pre-orders start in June what does this mean for the actual release date?

Around Gencon is my guess based on the usual lead time for other C7 books.

I love the new cover art: Mr Hodgson, you've outdone yourself. Can't wait for the pre-order announcement...

Love the new cover art, Jon you are Great, but the elf (Caranthir) is missing.
Is that intentional? In the first release the cover featured a lonely elf... Just wondering.

Isn't he poking out in the back, with a bow?

It wasn't intentional in the sense that there was no specific reason for leaving him out - but naturally I know he's not in there. I wanted to get a good mix of Middle-earth peoples and more importantly genders in there. So it was a toss up between Caranthir and Frida to fill that slot. I also played with putting him in, but it was getting just too busy.

Perhaps he'll have a starring role on another supplement?

I approve of this executive decision Jon. Elves get plenty of love in other games.
Rignuth: Barding Wordweaver Wanderer in Southron Loremaster's game.
Amroth Ol'Hir: High Elf Vengeful Kin Slayer in Zedturtle's game.
Jakk O'Malli: Dwarven Orator Treasure-Hunter in Hermes Serpent's game.

Obviously the elf loved the redesigned kitchen of the Easterly Inn so much that he decided to leave his life of adventure behind and become a cook.

Frida, the pre-gen from the Laketown sourcebook.
