"There is no time for a Fellowship Phase after this adventure" says the aftermath of The Crossings of Celduin (TfW p.135).
We are playing this adventure soon, and I have my doubts. How did your players feel about this restriction? Did you skip Advancement and Experience spending or just Undertakings?
Thanks.

Re: No time for a Fellowship Phase
We just skipped undertakings. Doing that stresses the urgency of the situation.
Not allowing XP or Advancement doesn't stress anything, other than the GM hates the players.

Not run the adventure yet but that's the way I'd go - allowing AP and XP to be spent of Common Skills, Weaponskills, and even Valour / Wisdom (if it were logical). These point spends can more often than not be justified by 'on the job' training so I'd allow players to take advantage of that.doctheweasel wrote:We just skipped undertakings.
