There are no rules for them; how do you use them if combats erupts?

LMs should be cautious... Any rules that they create for non-specific cultures riding horses and using them in battle (ie: basic riding and engagement rules for all mounted characters) need to allow for specific horse based cultures to be better than the norm. Personally, I would actually apply penalties to someone fighting from a horse that (a) isn't themselves trained and/or (b) isn't using a trained horse. That means that you're protecting the niche of future cultures that are going to come out officially or that fans produce (as in the above link).

I've always wondered why they have the price for a trained warhorse listed in the Lake Town source information, but no rules for their actual use in the game. :?
