That's what I tried to tell the cop who pulled me over going 72 in a 35 zone. In Manhattan.Rich H wrote:... When a rule impacts the enjoyment of said game it should be ignored or changed.

You're lucky he didn't shoot you in the face, Elf. Dead Woodsman indeed.

You're confusing game rules with real life laws. That's where you're going wrong. Cut down on the GTA and you should be okay.Elfcrusher wrote:That's why I tried to tell the cop who pulled me over going 72 in a 35 zone. In Manhattan.Rich H wrote:... In court I made him turn purple and sputter with fury, while the judge choked back a laugh. So it was worth the fine. And the points. And the day in court.Rocmistro wrote:You're lucky he didn't shoot you in the face, Elf. Dead Woodsman indeed.

I did at the time. Well (full disclosure on the story) I lived in Greenwich, where I worked, but had a place in the city, so in the wee hours I would drive out to my house/office. So it happened on the West Side Highway, northbound, at 6:00 AM. It wasn't exactly drag racing down Broadway against oncoming traffic during rush hour with supermodels in the backseat snorting coke.Rocmistro wrote:Do you live in NY, EC?
At least, not in that particular incident.
EDIT: Personal record for Upper West Side to driveway in Greenwich: 23 minutes.
