I'm not a big fan of that, I'd go instead with just increasing the bonuses based on success to +4, +8, and +12 respectively. Effectively, each level of success is roughly removing the numeric result of one success dice - ie, +4 better than cancels out an average d6 result of 3.5. You're foregoing an attack but if you get a Great or Extraordinary success you're basically avoiding the attack of most adversaries - even average attack rolls of something like a dragon.Elfcrusher wrote:Instead of a fixed +2, I could see it being multiples of Valour (1 to 6) or Favoured Wits bonus (1 to 3), whichever is higher.
