TOR Art at GenCon

Post by Jon Hodgson » Mon Aug 11, 2014 4:36 pm

Couple of items of interest which I happen to know will be on sale at GenCon:

Jeremy McHugh who worked on Rivendell and Hobbit Tales will have his original colour paintings and pencil pieces for sale. You can see them here: http://mchughstudios.com/studioblog/201 ... l-is-live/ and here: http://mchughstudios.com/studioblog/201 ... -and-tell/

I will be bringing along my original TOR sketchbook, which contains almost all the original sketches for my work on the core manual. I'm loathe to part with it, but all reasonable offers will be considered! It's a piece of TOR history!

I'll also have some original pencil pieces from the various supplements, all of which are viewable on request, and again all serious offers considered.

Maybe see you there!

Like my GenCon budget isn't stretched enough already! ;)

Looking forward to meet you all.

That's a bummer; location of this convention means many other fans from across the world can't make it! ... You should do something like Ebay the stuff instead, if you're seriously considering selling it.

It's not like you guys don't know where to find me if there's anything you want. Ebay is a nightmare for selling things like this for a number of reasons, and I wouldn't use it - I'd far rather deal face to face/direct via email.

Yeah, I only really suggested Ebay as an example rather than to actually use it as I can imagine the hassle it could cause. I'd be interested in this very much though! ... Problem is I'm not at Gencon. :( Here's hoping no-one buys it so I can take a ganders at it at Dragonmeet in December! :)
