Starting Attribute Distribution

Post by Glorelendil » Thu Aug 14, 2014 8:39 pm

Does anybody remember (or can anybody provide a link to...) the thread that discussed the distribution of attributes by background/culture? I seem to remember a nicely color coded chart.

I know the pattern: each culture has a first, second and third attribute, which equates to a range of 5-7, 4-6, 2-3, and each culture has one of the six possible combinations. But I want to see what else was discussed in that thread, and I can't seem to unearth it.

Interesting to read now the hypothesis that everyone defended about Noldo and Dunedain, with Rivendell out and all this...

I'll allow myself the narcisism of quoting my own words...
Maybe they are superior, but the servants of Sauron look for them wherever they are and hunt them over the other races. Or you have to invent some game-mechanics that simulate a tendency to keep to themselves, not to intervine in the affairs of the world

Or maybe they were inspired by your post and quickly rewrote the first draft...

Having draft content of Rivendell for some time, I remember reading that post of yours and resisting the urge to tell you just how on the mark you were!
