Feel free to post in a bit more detail the area that you're looking at and the level of detail you want along with settlements and places of interest.

If I can do anything for you, I'll probably work to A3 size and then scan it. I'm not at all 'techie' when it comes to art and maps - I like to hand draw my stuff so we'll need to bear that in mind as after its progressed from a sketch to actual inking in then it's quite hard to alter; although that isn't completely true as I did make some slight alterations to the map of the surrounding lands around Dale after I'd scanned it.

For a map, it would be great to have these details:
-Eastern border: East Bight
-Western border: Mountain Pass
-Northern border: Old Forest Road and Old Ford
-Southen border: Dol Goldur

As for details, it would be great to have the locations from Heart of the Wild on it, and maybe some paths and roads. :)

... I'll try and have a crack at a quick sketch of this (A4 sized) and scan and post it tomorrow or Wednesday.

This would be excellent!
In our campaign, this area will be developed as the story progresses, as the characters have taken a personal interest in the area. Looking forward to the result! :)

This is all reminding me of the online mapping project I really wanted to undertake:
- Scalable, with more detail appearing as you zoom in (multiple ways to do this technically)
- Sharable user-annotations, so that LMs can all add their own locations and notes, and other LMs can benefit
