I have 1 set for every player, but these are a good excuse to have an exclusive colour for the LM.
Recreatividad is my blog in spanish, I write about roleplaying games, specially The One Ring, Mouse Guard, Diaspora and Prince Valiant. You can find custom characters sheets there.

A hunter green with black numbers on it would have been more difficult to read.
Not impossible, of course. But the main purpose of a die is to give a number and the die must make it as easy as possible.

I'm with Beran, not a fan of the radioactive green colour of those dice.

+1

Dark green with golden numbers would have been awesome.

Or dark blue, for that matter:

And then some black and red for the bad guys!

Ok, I've been carried away. Sorry!

The brightness of that green is...wierd. I would have expected something with understatement, like the rest of the product line is themed. A rich hunter green with gold would definitely be something I'd like to get my hands on.

Yep, I bought a set too. They look fine to me. A nice vibrant green with easy to read numbers.

EDIT: In real life, they are perhaps a shade or so darker than in the photos. Just comparing the ones I have at the side of the photo on the first post by Jon in this thread.

That's good to hear, Rich. From the picture, they don't actually look that bad, and knowing they might be a tad darker than that photo is definitely a good thing! Green's my favorite color; I'm probably going to get me a set! :)
Tale of Years for a second, lower-level group (in the same campaign).

I saw these at Dragonmeet and the most commonly used phrase by all accounts was "they're very... green".

For personal preference, I'd like to see some in a dark colour for Loremasters, black or deep red maybe? Dark with marble effect reddish veins through? Something that really says "Hate" and "Sauron" for the LM to use. I've bought several sets of the original flavour for running at conventions - to get me to part with moar cash you're going to have to provide some grimdark colouration. ;)

The most commonly used phrase was "I'll take some of those please."
