List of Upcoming Releases

Post by Heilemann » Fri Dec 12, 2014 4:36 pm

I haven't seen another list of known, upcoming releases, so I thought I'd make one:

Ruins of the North
An adventure anthology for Rivendell, presumably.

Adventurer's Companion
Something to do with crunchy bits.

The Horse-lords of Rohan
Region sourcebook, presumably.

Oaths of the Riddermark
An adventure anthology for The Horse-lords of Rohan.

Journeys & Maps
A deluxe set of Middle-earth game maps and a guide to travel for The One Ring.

You mean, apart from the official one on the C7 website that will get updated as new products are announced?

But let's turn this thread into a discussion about that list.

1) Interesting that all the new cultures we've been waiting for will be in the Adventurer's Companion, not in the source books for the relevant regions. E.g., Rohan.

2) I hope new weapons make it into the Adventurer's Companion. And new combat actions. And new virtues/rewards...

3) Ents as playable culture. Go.

4) Did you see my spiffy new user name?

P.S. I'm kidding about one of the above. You only get 3 guesses, though.

Literally never knew that existed before! That should be pinned to the top of the forum; there are always a small handful of threads about books, but so far none that outline the known future roadmap. Thanks! :)

I think it's a good choice. I was getting a bit worried about having to hunt through five books to have the res to make a Fellowship of the Ring.

Sure. Ents dual wielding giant bear warhammers. I'll go for it.
Jacob Rodgers, occasional nitwit.

This space intentionally blank.

I like the sounds of "Oaths of the Riddermark".

Yeah, the news is awesome, and there's an absolute ton of exciting new products coming!

FWIW, I think the dropping the dates is a wiser approach. Fans should just learn to be patient, and realize they'll put stuff out when it's complete. I for one appreciate quality over quantity, and would rather stuff come out a little slower, but have the outstanding quality we've come to expect from this line.

Great job, C7! 8-)

Oh, and congrats on the new name, artist formerly known as EC. What's a good abbreviation now? GE?

Or also:

"Fans should stop complaining and play the whole Darkening and Tales campaign, with all the ideas from Heart mixed in. Once they've finished EVERYTHING, they are allowed to ask for more". ;)

Somebody will complain if they don't come out in the order listed in Jon's post.
