TOR Bestiary & NPC list
Re: TOR Bestiary & NPC list
You are most welcome.
Of Finarfin's children I am the last. But my heart is still proud. What wrong did the golden house of Finarfin do that I should ask the pardon of the Valar, or be content with an isle in the sea whose native land was Aman the Blessed? Here I am mightier.

That reminded me a book I owned for years. Pretty nice bookOtaku-sempai wrote:Okay, that's fine for a database. I would prefer an actual book in the form of a general sourcebook covering the various regions of Middle-earth--at least the regions covered by Tolkien's map of Middle-earth from The Lord of the Rings.Rich H wrote:We're talking about an index to creatures and NPCs from the published books so they are easy to find, not creating new creatures/NPCs.

Hey farninal, don't suppose I can persuade you to do a version with my extra adversaries (should make quite an impressive list) You can find it in Rich H's additional rules pdf.

If you do, then look at the Dale supplement as well as their are new adversaries in there as well!poosticks7 wrote:Hey farninal, don't suppose I can persuade you to do a version with my extra adversaries (should make quite an impressive list) You can find it in Rich H's additional rules pdf.

You can get many information about near 30 game enemies in the online combat calculator: http://tor.hpcomp.com.ar

I didn't see this the first time through, Farinal. Great work.

Re: TOR Bestiary List
I do not know if this list was ever updated with the critters from all of the current TOR books. In any case, I did not find one. Anywho, I took the list from page one of this thread and just added them. I hope the list is of use to someone other than myself.

Re: TOR Bestiary & NPC list
It seems to me that C7 is going to wait until a goodly number of additional books are out, so as not to prematurely aggregate like-typed collections of creatures, npcs, regions, etc., when even more new stuff is in the pipeline.
At some point though, the whole system would benefit from a 2.0 version, not so much as for a tweaking of rules (folks will tweak, new-edition, revise until the End of Days -- I am against this), but to more comprehensively rearrange items into discrete books: PHB, MM, DMG, and smaller region gazetteers.
Dunno how far off that is, tho'. I'm happy as a clam as-is, but I play off-canon. Or, more accurately, warped canon.
