I'd love to read some really great fan fiction about the Travels of Aragorn.

Or read 3 or 4 TOR supplements on the topic.

The story of the journeys and errantries of Aragorn is one of the very few ways I can see of making a viable spin off from Peter Jackson's Middle-earth films. Not that it should necessarily be attempted, but there is at least enough in the LotR Appendices to outline such a movie.

God I hate to admit it but I would go see it. I mean, all 3 of them.

... Maybe not by Jackson but if the people that did "The Hunt for Gollum" made something along those lines then yep, definitely.

There is fan fiction on the Web about Aragorn, Legolas etc., you just have to spend a lot of time looking. I think there was one website called 'LOTR fanatics plaza ' or similar, but it's been awhile since I looked. I do recall one story with Legolas as a captured slave in Harad!

Be careful if you start to include Aragorn on-camera in your TOR RPG.

I am learning the hard way that this can go awry very quickly. Your players may not do what you expect them to do. Even if they do, the dice might not do what you expect them to do.

Amroth Ol'Hir: High Elf Vengeful Kin Slayer in Zedturtle's game.

Who said Aragorn will throw dice? he is aplot device after all. I already included a young theoden and grima wormtongue in a game (and Theoden was in a battle in the event) but he was a plot device as well, so no dice thrown on his part. So yes, stuff happens, but we enjoy it.

Elmoth:

That's what I thought as well (about throwing dice). I'm just saying, be careful about keeping Aragorn (or any other character like that) on your main-camera for too long, or at all, because eventually they will end up throwing dice (or getting dice thrown at them). Best laid plans of mice and men, and all that...

And sometimes Aragorn ends up dead, and his escort is being slowly corrupted into werewolves...

And sometimes he ends up marrying Eowyn and Faramir and Arwen elope...
