I hear there's this grumpy old man who tears strips off new posters here if they dare to ask a question that's been previously asked. Probably putting people off. Oh wait IT'S YOU!!!!Hermes Serpent wrote: I wonder why she chose to post not to the publisher's forum but a random bunch of geeks who may or may not have a clue.

Understood, zed. I wasn't trying to imply that you were stating some absolute fact, I was just attempting to calm things a little by saying I didn't find it offensive. You do raise some really good points in the rest of your post; I often wonder that because we have such an active community here we don't discuss TOR as much elsewhere. I'm speaking from personal experience here but I used to post regularly over at RPGNet but only occasionally post there now and this is largely to do with the community here.zedturtle wrote:Fortunately, I said "offensive to me", so that's always defensible.

They're damned hippies, the lot of them.
- Poster on said site since 2001 Burgo.
I'm fairly certain rpg.net is a strong rpg focussed and gaming focussed site.
Quite a few game writers, publishers, editors and general nerdy folks participate there.
I'd offer myself up as an example but I've not written for a rpg supplement or related fiction for about 7 years now.
Not sure what that is in dog-years...
Scott Lynch is just one of many nerdly sorts who have posted there over the years.
Don't get me wrong, if I'm looking to specifically discuss TOR ideas, concepts or materials that this place is my first stop.
But it's good to have a range of posting possibilities at your disposal.

So just how deep is it?
