LOL Love Stephen Wright.

The 3D printer is probably on zedturtle's employer's dime, so I say make it life-size. We can take volunteers for who wants to do a TOR LARP! ;)

I've played the War of the Ring Collector's Edition a few times and that's quite an experience... a whole map of Middle Earth at 28mm scale would be insane. But I don't have a warehouse complex to spare, nor the funds to pay for that amount of material! ;)

No new drawing tonight, but here's a colour version of the map, with the background:

Yeah, gorgeous is the right word. Amazing what just one color adds!

Really makes the text easier to read with the addition of the red (eye) colour.

Beautiful map indeed!

Cool. Be aware that this is pure speculation on my part, I figure that Viglund would want to be close to the North Ford in order to control traffic across there.
I pictured Viglund’s House to be on the edge of the forest per HotW, that he “rules from his long-house under the eaves of Northern Mirkwood”(p.29). North Ford is probably not even close to see half the Old Ford's traffic, but I would imagine Viglund guarding this strategic border crossing. It surely is a good location for a fort.

Good catch. I will probably move it over, anyone have any ideas for a fort name? Or maybe it should just be the North Ford fort?
