Here's step 1, the map background itself without any political/manmade markers on it at all...

Pigma technical markers, mostly .005, .01 and .08 (with some less-than-successful experimentation with .02 in certain parts of the Misty Mountains); then labelling done in Adobe Illustrator.jacksarge wrote:That's looking really good. What did you draw it with?
Will this be something your players get to see or just for LM?
Yeah, I kind of hinted at in the first post, my first reason for doing this was actually to practise for doing something non-TOR.Rich H wrote:Loving these maps, Jacob! Really great to see.
It amazes me how much time you spend on TOR, I've really wanted to do some maps like this for quite some time but haven't been able to move beyond the preliminary stages, although your style is similar to mine, so I'm a bit jealous of what you've done so far!
It's very much appreciated and I'm sure by more than those that just post in this thread. If you do get these donw and shared, you'll be saving me a lot of effort and time.zedturtle wrote:... I figure I might as well try to do something worth sharing with others with that time and effort.
I'm trying to figure out the logistics but my plan is to do all of the areas that we have maps for.Rich H wrote:It's very much appreciated and I'm sure by more than those that just post in this thread. Cool. Be aware that this is pure speculation on my part, I figure that Viglund would want to be close to the North Ford in order to control traffic across there.beckett wrote:Beautiful map. The location of Viglund's House is handy as my players want to go there next and free the slaves.
