I can't see anything clear there, but I'd bet it is a hobbit, a dwarf, an elf and a human. Seems right so that noone feels let out, don't you think?

Of course, elves are known for being awesome wizards... with fireballs and flying spells and such.

And they're also famous for their dual-wielding fighting style!

Very interesting. And we might get rules for fighting from horse back in the Rohan book. :D

The ship on the Journeys & Maps cover has me thinking... I was listening to a podcast of D&D 5E the other day, and I turned off with disappointment when the DM told the players "It's ten days travel to get there, and nothing happens during that time." If TOR delivers naval voyages the same way its mastered land journeys I will be very happy.
Yes indeed, if they expand the journey rules to include more river/lake options or (gasp) The Great Sea, well, that will rock :D

It was certainly mentioned at Dragonmeet that this supplement would have additional journey rules for traveling on water. Whether this is just restricted to rivers or out into the open sea remains to be seen. Personally, I think it will be just the former but designed to allow expansion to the high seas with such rules, as well as naval combat, included in a supplement detailing a location and cultures that would actively use them. This will likely be a natural companion to the Gondor supplement with rules for war and mass combat. Who knows.

Note: not an official announcement! I'm no more 'in the know' about this than anyone else.

Well, maybe.

Who knows.

Hi everyone. I'm a graphic designer and thought I could use some of my toys to help clean up the image. It's not great but here you go anyway.
