Rest in peace, Sir Christopher Lee. And condolences to Mr. Lee's family, friends, colleagues, fans and many admirers. He will be missed.

May he rest in peace.
I know him most as Saruman, Count Dooku, and even Ansem the Wise (Kingdom Hearts 2)

You should all watch the original Wicker Man film. He was in that and he was awesome. Great film too. Not the remake. Avoid that one.

Don't forget that he also was Dracula, Sherlock Holmes, and The Man with the Golden Gun.
In real life he fought Nazis during WWII. When Peter Jackson asked him to imagine the sound of someone being stabbed with a knife, Christopher Lee told him that he didn't have to image the sound, he had heard it before.
Also, he made a Christmas metal album which is pretty awesome:

According to the LA Times he turned up on the set of LOTR speaking Elvish (in which he was fluent) much to Peter Jackson's surprise!
"It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out of your door," he used to say. "You step into the Road, and if you don't keep your feet, there is no telling where you might be swept off to."
