I know that at least Rich H is from Sheffield (or so his signature says...).

... You beat me to the punch on this!

Needless to say, I'll be taking a look and will happily take some pics (if allowed) and pick up any freebies and maybe some not-so-freebies to share with you all.

Happy to do a little review too.

Frustratingly, when I went this afternoon, it wasn't ready - ie, the descriptive cards of the artwork were still covering most of the art pieces so I couldn't get a good look. However it's a small venue of a couple of 15' square rooms. I'd say that means there are around 40 pieces of art on display - some larger than others. There also looks to be some kind of video presentation, but this wasn't playing when I was there.

I'll have to pop back tomorrow!

I'm hoping to pop in sometime in the next few weeks.

Rich - you know there is a Middle Earth festival at Sarehole Mill, Birmingham, this weekend? I think the Tolkien Society are involved.

I did but unfortunately I can't make it on account that me and my partner are busy getting "the blob" scanned to see if it's still okay.
