That sort of suggests that:
a) Everybody has access to somebody like Elrond to pepper them with questions
b) Elrond knows about every fort and tower built by Men (or even Elves) in Middle-Earth
But I do think your point is part of why an archaeologist wouldn't likely be Elven. I just don't think it precludes it being a hobby for more short-lived races.
(And, again, I'm not suggesting it should be a Calling; it wouldn't be a common thing, just a one-off character concept.)

I believe it'll be included in the upcoming "Raiders of the Lost Ring" supplement. A bit of a departure for C7 in that it is mostly written from the perspective of a famous hobbit, Imladris Baggins, as he reminisces about his adventures and exploits. It's also set in the fourth age and contains rules for Nazi Orcs, cultists, and drawing red lines all across your map of Wilderland. RRP is £49.95 but keep an eye on the website for further information.Glorelendil wrote:When are they going to add Whip skill to the game?

Don't you mean, "Drakes! Why did it have to be drakes?"Majestic wrote:Of course the Archaeologist's Shadow Weakness would have to be some sort of fear of reptiles.
