Coming Soon for The One Ring: Journeys and Maps
Re: Coming Soon for The One Ring: Journeys and Maps
I am stupidly excited for this. My group has recently finished Darkening and I have been somewhat dreading moving over to Eriador because I don't have an impressive enough map of it. Now, if Bree happens to be in there my joy would be complete.

Amazing news, I have my wallet at the ready and keep up the great work

I can't wait!
Recreatividad is my blog in spanish, I write about roleplaying games, specially The One Ring, Mouse Guard, Diaspora and Prince Valiant. You can find custom characters sheets there.

Was already looking forward to this enormously. The addition of extra locations was unlooked for and is amazing!

Yes, it's very interesting how the Hazards for Named Locations (see contents page) has all new locations.bluejay wrote:Was already looking forward to this enormously. The addition of extra locations was unlooked for and is amazing!
I'd love to see the Journey Rules and all hazards from across the books, maybe even including fan created ones, collected up into one volume - something that I'll have to do for myself, I guess.

You teasing little minx.Jon Hodgson wrote:Oooh good question!mirkwoodfalcon wrote:I have a question regarding the supplement.
The teaser indicates it will include a map of Eriador, is this just the Eastern Eriador map released with Rivendell, or will it cover the whole of Eriador (including the western regions like Ered Luin and the Shire?)

Awesome news! What I really like about this supplement is that it focuses on journeys, making one of the greatest aspects of TOR even better. It would be cool if C7 could do future supplements along the same lines; maybe Combats and Strongholds (including combat options, defences, new gear and armour, an engagement map, etc.) and Encounters and Customs (details on various scenarios with certain Loremaster characters, social customs within cultures, building tiers of rewards, patron ideas, etc.).
