This would really be awsome!
Journeys is a great start. I have been struggling with the application of the rules, because there have been so many changes, house rules and so forth. It will be nice to know exactly what TN the travel and corruption is in specific regions. And when to roll for corruption...

The TN for Fatigue tests can be determine from the Region table on page 158 of the Revised Core Rules. So, if the company is traveling through Wild Lands their Fatigue tests would have a TN of 16. Corruptions tests are really up to the LM -- see page 223 of the Revised Core Rules. Are they traveling through a Blighted Place? How do you know if a place is Blighted? What's the history of the area the company are traversing, both canonical and within your own campaign. That should tell you. When in doubt, use the table on page 223.

As beckett's post advises. But, just ignore everything else about journeys apart from that which appears in the rulebook; those are official, the rest is really just noise that can be ignored and dismissed. I doubt journeys and maps is going to reprint rules that already exist elsewhere; it will just add extra bits like additional hazards and ruins.

Let me clarify my confusion, because I have read the rules.
But the adventures I'm running, where the journey is detailed seems to have the difficulty of the land determine the TN rather than the hostility of the region. Glorelendils travel program for example. WB's Treasures long lost also.
So I was beginning to question if there had been some kind of ruling on this...
In Nightmares of Angmar it seems that you can travel for 30 days in the worst area with no curroption tests at all, but going throuh Mirkwood om the Elf path requires 7 corruption tests. Both official adventures.

I'm just saying. It's not clear.

I am ruling my game, so it's consistant. But can't wait to see whats inside that book. Bring it on for preorder :D

My journey computer does Corruption wrong. Don't use it for that.

I would really love some official mass combat rules that really fit in with the TOR aesthetic.

I hate to even call it "mass combat" because I want it to be useful whether the heroes have 4 allies or 400.

James' rules were very well received by Francesco so until some official Mass Battle rules are released in the Gondor supplement I'd suggest they are our best option.

Is that a guess about what's coming in Gondor, or knowledge?
