True, and we could be kidding a third announcement tomorrow, though Jon said that wasn't guaranteed.

I'll be completely upfront and say it's looking like the last one of the three updates will come next week. We don't want to rush it, it'll get more eyes early in the week, and to be honest there's plenty here to be chewing over.

I wonder if, like Rivendell and Horse-lords, it will contain additional rules? Or if it is exclusively a gazetteer like HotW..? Either way, it's bound to be fantastically useful to any LM out there.

I would suspect we'd at least get some Undertaking rules relating to Erebor and Dale, etc.

By a bizarre coincidence, I posted this only yesterday in the thread about the announcement of "Journeys and Maps":

The only thing that will outdo this for me is if the adventurers's companion is finally announced this week, and will include new cultural virtues, rewards and other options.

Mind you, a book detailing Erebor is way, way overdue in my opinion...

And I had no idea this was coming!

Can't tell you how delighted I am. I just hope these will be with us (in PDF form, at least) soon, because we wants them, my precious, oh yes we does. If the next announcement is about the Adventurer's Companion I may burst with excitement.
