C7's customer service is second to none! :)
Adventure Summaries for my long-running group (currently playing through The Darkening of Mirkwood/Mirkwood Campaign), and the Tale of Years for a second, lower-level group (in the same campaign).

totally agree there mate.

Not only did he source me the Darkening book, but he confirmed the whole order and popped the whole lot in the post that day. Excellent service! Perfect timing because I'm pretty much finished reading the corebook, now I'm thinking up on the spot questions to myself, then going back to the book for the info. This weekend I'll be going over the Marsh Bell and HotW and if the other goodies arrive, I'll be on homework overload!! :D

Can't wait to get in about this game!!

Next silly question:

Fighting multiple foes: (example)
Umbrim the Dwarf is part of a fellowship in a fight with several goblins. Umbrim finds himself in melee combat with 2 goblins. Would I be right in saying that in any given round, he can only attack 1 goblin. Both attack him, he uses the same parry rank for both. If for example Umbrim happens to be a pretty talented warrior with rank 4 on axes, can he split 2 attacks at rank 2 each? Or is he assumed to be defending against both while focusing on killing 1 at a time....

Unless you house rule it, characters cannot split attacks under normal circumstances so your dwarf PC would select one of the goblins to attack on his turn while they'd each attack him once. He'd get his Parry to defend against both.

While he's engaged with both goblins, he's assumed to only have a good attack opportunity on one goblin in a round, using all four dice.

Maybe the Adventurers Companion will have different options but for now that's how that works.
