Boing! Did you day a map of Dale? Ah, can't use that...kidding of course.;) Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. It will be most useful for my PbP game I'm just starting.

The glacial pace of product release for TOR is definetly tricky to maneuver around. As you say it is easy to move on to other games under such circumstances...believe me I have considered it. But, it does give people like yourself and the other parties you mentioned a chance to shine. Personally, I haven't used fan material in my games in the past, I much perfer keeping it official (I think that says alot about what I think of the quality of your material), but, the situation is what it is.

Map of Dale
Okay, so I've finished the B+W version - all inked in but minus supplement references, labels, and key/legend. Take a look:

Image

... The right hand side of it is chopped off above but the download is complete - get the higher res version here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/795 ... 2BW%29.jpg [Update: now removed as finished version available]

Holy crap on a cracker - that was seriously hard work! There are bits that I'm not 100% happy with but I'm getting tired of trying to get it completely *right* so I think this is as close as I'm reasonably going to get with it. I *am* pretty damn happy with it overall though.

Next, I'll be colouring it, adding labels, and a map key/legend (if I think it's necessary, although I don't really think it needs one).

Hope you all like it!

Thanks gents.

Made some minor changes to the map so people are best downloading it again. Will be finishing it off this weekend given a fair wind - one for players and a copy with more information on it for LMs...

I've finished the maps of Dale. I decided not to do a full colour version as it lost a bit of clarity.

You can find them here...

1) Adventurers Map of the City of Dale: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/795 ... 20Dale.jpg

2) Loremaster Map of the City of Dale: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/795 ... 20Dale.jpg

... Also added these links to the first post in this thread and updated the Dale supplement with these maps.

Cheers

... I think so, yes; I certainly don't plan on doing anything more!

I'm shattered! That map was a lot of hard work - ended up hand drawing it.
