A question of language

Post by Indur Dawndeath » Wed Mar 30, 2016 7:30 pm

Hello guys, help me out here.

What does this mean:
"when you are wearing your Horsetailed Helm while fighting on horseback or on foot in a Forward stance"
Is the Forward Stance a prerequisite for both horseback and foot, or just when on foot?

If it was Forward stance whether or not you were mounted, there would be no need to distinguish between being on horseback or being on foot.

So I lean towards any Stance on horseback and Forward when on foot.

Horse-lords of Rohan, page 137 "Fighting in Close Quarters" says horsemen are allowed Open or Forward stance only.

Fair enough. I was away from my computer at the time... :)

Doesn't change what you correctly said about it only be Forward stance for non-mounted, which is the way I'd do it too as otherwise it wouldn't have been mentioned.
