I think you talk about the lost portion of Middle Earth between the maps Wilderland and Mordor, an empty space that I estimate that it has a width of 40 to 50 hexagons and a height of 10 to 15.Jon Hodgson wrote:Oh! Another anecdote. There is a tiny piece of territory that isn't on any map. There's a very small gap in the middle. We couldn't find anything on any map of Middle-earth that showed any detail in that region - it's literally blank map. But by allowing that tiny gap it allowed us to fit the stuff on the extreme West of the maps.

That's probably it, but I wasn't seeing such a gap. I probably didn't look closely enough!Falenthal wrote:But it seems that Jon is talking about something lacking in the middle, if I get it right.Otaku-sempai wrote:As far as I can tell, most of the gaps are at the edges

Surely The Hidden Spot Were Are The Naked Elf Women.
They were an annex in The Red Book called Naked Elf Women and Were To Find Them. Strangely, it has disappeared from all the copy made after.

Nothing of Worth.

Actually, upon reflection, I think the region between the Blue Mountains and the River Lune should have just been called the Plains of Lune. The plains might then be subdivided by the lower river, if necessary, into North Lune and South Lune. I just wish that this had occurred to me much earlier.Otaku-sempai wrote:On the maps of Eriador, is the region between the northern Blue Mountains and the River Lhûn mislabeled? It seems to me that it should be called West Lune.

I've always known this land as Numeriador.Otaku-sempai wrote:Actually, upon reflection, I think the region between the Blue Mountains and the River Lune should have just been called the Plains of Lune. That comes from MERP if I'm not mistaken. I have a copy of John David Ruemmler's Rangers of the North (Iron Crown; 1985). That's definitely the work of Ruemmler and/or Peter Fenlon. C7 wouldn't be able to use Numeriador for reasons of copyright and trademark.Erland Hakon wrote:I've always known this land as Numeriador.
